About

Questpad started as a group chat where three friends kept arguing about which mobile game to install next. We got tired of app store screenshots that hide how a game actually feels after the third hour, so we decided to write it all down ourselves.

The team is small. We buy or download games, play them properly, and only then sit down to write. Nobody here reviews a title after ten minutes — if a game has a slow start, we say so, and if it opens up later, we say that too.

We pick games mostly by curiosity and reader suggestions. RPGs and adventures are our home turf, but we also cover strategy, racing and the odd cosy simulation when it catches our attention. A game gets a spot in the catalog only after someone on the team has finished a meaningful chunk of it.

Everything you read is our own opinion. We don't run sponsored reviews dressed up as editorial, and if that ever changes we'll say it in plain words at the top of the page.

Lukas Meinhardt — Lukas has been playing RPGs since the family PC ran on a single fan, and he now leads the Questpad reviews. He still keeps a spreadsheet of every game he's finished.
