Cosy games for when your brain is done

Cosy games for when your brain is done

Some evenings I don't want a challenge. I want a small, warm loop I can settle into. That's where cosy games earn their place, and Tinyroot Village is my current go-to.

The key with a good cosy game is that it never nags. No timers screaming for attention, no failure screens. You water a few plants, help a neighbour, and log off feeling a little lighter.

I keep a couple of these installed at all times as a kind of decompression tool. They're the opposite of a strategy game — you're not solving, you're just tending.

If you've been in a gaming rut, try dropping one of these into your rotation. It resets the palate for the heavier stuff.
